ARRL VE Testing Sessions
Information
Note:
The FCC has eliminated Morse code as a licensing requirement for amateur radio.
Amateur Radio license testing is available immediately following
every regular ARKAN meeting (fourth Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m.). Please
give advance notice via email to our Testing
Coordinator, to ensure examiners are available.
What to bring with you:
1. A photo ID. If no photo ID is available, two forms of ID are required.
2. Photocopy of your ID.
3 . Any original licenses or Certificate of Successful Completed Exams (CSCE)
for which you wish to receive credit. A photocopy is also REQUIRED of each of
the documents.
4 . Test fee of $14 cash. Exact amount is required. This fee is charged once,
no matter whether taking any one, two, three or all four test elements, one
time.
5 . Two(2) number two pencils.
6 . Optional - Calculator (non-programmable)

be made in advance if special needs are to be accommodated. Please contact the
coordinator listed above.
